Monash Health imaging is seeking Medical Administrative Officers to join the imaging administration network across southeast Melbourne. You will provide high-level customer service to patients and families in a busy, multi-site environment.
Responsibilities include reception, phone management and scheduling, plus support for rostering and clinical workflows. The role requires excellent communication, confidentiality and the ability to work as part of a team.

As a Medical Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level customer service to patients across a variety of settings, including:
Reception duties, including meeting and greeting patients and their families
Managing the phone system and scheduling appointments for internal and external patients according to clinical requirements
Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working as part of a rotational shift time roster
Day shift position shift times are: 7:30-16:00pm, 8:00-16:30pm and 8:30-17:00pm.
Afternoon shift position shift time is: 12:30 -21:00pm
These administration officer roles are focused on delivering exceptional customer service to patients and their families. Working in a busy, team-based environment, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support, contributing to optimal patient care and the overall functioning of the service.
You are passionate about helping others, especially in a challenging situation, is what drives you to provide exceptional support to our patients and their families. As the first point contact for many of our patients when they attend our unit, a welcoming manner with clear communication skills combined with empathy and patience is essential for this role. These administration positions will be based mainly at Monash Health imaging sites within the southeast corridor of Melbourne in response to rostering requirements
