Job summary

Paramount Skydance Corporation in Sydney seeks a Media Exchange Operator to join our busy station on a casual basis, with hours and days varying by demand. You will ingest and prepare media for News and Production, schedule records, monitor playout media, perform QC, maintain metadata, assist with basic edits, and liaise with newsroom, NOC and acquisitions teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Ingest media for News and Production from local and international feeds.
Schedule records for News and Production in the MAM system.
Prepare and monitor playout media for live studio News and Production.
Perform QC of media assets and maintain metadata conventions.
Maintain archival requirements and media asset organisation.
Carry out basic editing to prepare media for playout.
Liaise with newsroom, NOC and acquisitions teams to ensure items are ready for edit.
Distribute media to internal teams and external organisations.
