Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in mechatronic, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in programming and debugging PLC systems within an engineering role.
• Experience working within an engineering team in the design and/or technical integration of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical documentation and reports.
• Able and willing to travel interstate and internationally (initial 12 months travel across Australia, North America and China).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to testing and validation of PLC control systems and HMI for PhotonAssay Max.
• Design and integration of key sub-systems and prototypes into PhotonAssay Max units.
• Prepare and review data, analyses and project documents.
• Support troubleshooting during prototype testing and validation phases.
• Provide input to identify opportunities for design improvements or new products.
