Job summary

Inform Ag, based in Mildura, seeks a Mechatronic Engineer to maintain and optimise automation for agricultural operations. You will work on irrigation automation, valve and pump control, and in-field monitoring using mesh WiFi networks and hardware across the Mildura region.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial automation with hands-on PLC experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Schneider) and a mechanical background.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Australian agricultural settings with irrigation automation, valve and pump control.
• Hands-on experience with field-deployed automation systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise automation systems in agricultural operations.
• Support irrigation automation including valve and pump control.
• Manage in-field monitoring, mesh WiFi networks and related hardware.
• Ensure GrowData technology runs reliably in the field.
