Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver mechanical training across Western Australia, working with Komatsu technicians, apprentices and customers to enhance skills in mechanical operation, systems and servicing of Komatsu machines. The role is based from the Welshpool office with regular travel across WA; Brisbane-based candidates will be considered with WA travel required.

Experience as a Mechanical/Mobile Plant Technician or Electrician is preferred, and RTO-background applicants are

Qualifications

• Experienced Mechanical Technician, Mobile Plant Technician, or Electrician with the ability to share knowledge and train others.
• Open to candidates from training or RTO backgrounds who can deliver mechanical training on Komatsu equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical technical training across Komatsu equipment and systems.
• Develop and maintain technical training materials and programs.
• Train Komatsu apprentices, technicians and customers.
• Assess training outcomes and identify opportunities to improve capability.
• Work with technical specialists and internal teams to keep training current.
• Travel across WA to branches and customer sites to deliver training.
