Job summary

FlowTech Australia is seeking Mechanical Technicians to join our team across NSW locations. You will perform scheduled maintenance on vehicles and equipment, repair worn parts, reassemble components, and refer to service manuals as needed.

The role requires a Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to work independently or in a team while maintaining safety and quality documentation. Salary ranges from 75k to 85k plus super.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Technician or equivalent is required.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and mechanical knowledge across vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular scheduled maintenance on a range of vehicle and equipment.
• Repair worn/defective parts and reassemble mechanical components with service manuals.
• Test and adjust mechanical parts after repair to ensure proper performance.
• Complete service and inspection documentation to ensure compliance.
• May respond to breakdown service calls and maintain a safe work environment.

We are currently seeking MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS to join our Teams in all of these locations. The role includes but is not limited to:

• Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle and equipment
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
• Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
• May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
• Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong diagnostic abilities
• Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
