Job summary

Terra Verde Joint Venture seeks a Mechanical Supervisor in Melbourne to coordinate on-site mechanical, plant and equipment activities across the Suburban Rail Loop project.

Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent, you will lead maintenance planning, spare parts management, and safety compliance while delivering high standards. This role supports Victoria’s largest infrastructure project and offers growth within a tiered contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated safety awareness and commitment to site safety protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with stakeholders.
• Experience with budget control and delivering large work packages on site.
• Proven team leadership capability and ability to manage field crews.
• Proficiency in MS Office and standard business tools (Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate day-to-day maintenance across all site mechanical assets.
• Manage spare parts, servicing schedules and maintenance priorities.
• Forecast material, tooling and machinery requirements to support operations.
• Perform inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality and Environmental teams to conform to standards.
• Develop relationships with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of plant reliability and reduced downtime.
• Adhere to Terra Verde policies and procedures.
