Vitex Pharmaceuticals Pty invites an experienced trade qualified Mechanical officer to join our Eastern Creek facility. This permanent full-time role includes training and development, with onsite parking and a pathway to career growth within a leading pharmaceutical producer.

Work with a team focused on integrity, quality and innovation, ensuring safe operation and maintenance of mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to mechanical engineering.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and fix machinery as required.
• Plan and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and training to ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Understand and act in compliance with Vitex policies and procedures.

Requirements

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshoot and fix machinery as required
• Plan and conduct preventative maintenance
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Provide technical support and training to ensure proper operation and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Understand and act in compliance with Vitex policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility (preferred not essential)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to mechanical engineering.
