Job summary

Transport Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks an experienced Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter to join the Rydalmere workshop. You will be responsible for installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of PALFINGER cranes, hookloaders and tail lifts, working closely with workshop and service teams to ensure safety, reliability and performance.

The role requires a trade qualification and proven hydraulic/mechanical aptitude, with strong fault-finding skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on PALFINGER cranes, hookloaders and tail lifts.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical and associated system faults.
• Install and commission cranes, hookloaders and tail lifts.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and drawings.
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, this hands-on role is responsible for the installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of PALFINGER Cranes, Hookloaders and Tail Lifts.
