Job summary

Zeal Futures Pty is offering an Engineering Mechanical (Fitting & Machining) Apprenticeship where you’ll study Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical over four years and gain hands-on experience dismantling and assembling motors, operating lathes, mills and drill presses, and performing basic welding and finishing tasks.

You’ll work in a team, undertake on/off the job training, and be guided by mentors throughout your growing career in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain National Police Check.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical (audiometry, spirometry, drug and alcohol screening, and functional capacity assessment).
• Driver's Licence (P1 or above).
• Willingness to obtain White Card.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and assemble motors while utilising all measurement equipment.
• Operate lathes, mills, drill presses, and balancing machine.
• Work with hand tools, spray painting, grit blasting, and basic welding.
• Install and remove machines, onsite mechanical works.
• Actively participate in toolboxes and UAP program.
