Job summary

Redland City Council is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to maintain and service mechanical plant across water and wastewater networks in the Redland area. You will operate equipment such as cranes, trucks and specialised machinery, and contribute to maintenance schedules and asset management in a collaborative team environment.

• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical trade background.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault finding.
• Skills in welding, fabrication and/or machining.

You’ll be contributing to services at scale, supporting a network that delivers more than 14 billion litres of safe drinking water to over 65,000 properties and treats more than 14 billion litres of wastewater every year.

What you need

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent mechanical trade background.
