Job summary

Mineral Resources is seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our team at lithium mine sites in Western Australia. These full-time roles offer 2:2 FIFO from Perth via MinRes Air, with on-site training and opportunities to develop leadership skills on the tools.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant equipment, attend breakdowns, calibrate instruments, and operate fixed and mobile plant machinery, contributing to plant reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with fixed plant maintenance within the mining industry.
• Current Australian Driver's License.
• Construction Induction Card (CIC).
• Desirable: Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing.
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
• Pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment.
• Attend to breakdowns and faults on site.
• Calibrate instruments and test systems to spec.
• Operate fixed and mobile plant machinery as required.
• Collaborate with Planning Team to support plant reliability improvements.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking Mechanical Fitters with a background in processing/fixed plant maintenance to join our team at our owner-operated lithium mine sites. These roles are full time positions and can allow you to grow your skill set with on-site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment, attending to breakdowns, working with the Planning Team to support plant reliability improvements, calibrating instruments, and operating fixed and mobile plant machinery.
