Job summary

Motion Acacia Ridge is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter & Turner to join our Workshop Team. In this hands-on role, you will maintain, repair and overhaul pumps, shafts, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites.

This role requires site-based work across Southeast Queensland, with a company vehicle and fuel card provided, and a strong emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Fitter & Turner in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
• Experience with Pumps, Mechanical Seals and rotating equipment is important.
• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter & Turner or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul pumps, shafts, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment.
• Assemble driveshafts and air brakes; work with balances, presses, lathes, and mills.
• Prioritise safety and complete maintenance records accurately.
