Job summary

ACCIONA's Mechanical & Electrical team in Melbourne seeks a Mechanical Fitter to perform maintenance across Melbourne sites and the Port Melbourne workshop. You will install equipment on project sites, including work at height, and ensure reliable operation of plant and equipment.

A skilled team values precision and safety. Responsibilities include installing structures and pipework, reading drawings, and using precision tools.

Qualifications

• Current driver licence required.
• 5+ years mechanical maintenance experience.
• Reading technical drawings and specifications.
• High-Risk Work Licence (EWP) an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain heavy metal structures and pipework.
• Fit and assemble mechanical components to spec.
• Read technical drawings and specifications.
• Use precision tools to measure and check work.
• Maintain and troubleshoot plant and equipment.
• Work safely at heights, on scaffolds and in confined spaces.
• Follow WHS rules to keep yourself and others safe.
