Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to maintain and repair equipment across the Invicta Mill's crushing stations, including hydraulics, gearboxes and pumps. You will work day shifts on a roster, with occasional overtime and weekends.

You'll fabricate and manufacture components, contribute to preventative maintenance, and guide apprentices while liaising with the Work Coordinator on costs and asset performance. A strong safety focus is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitting is preferred.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications required.
• Manual driver's licence is essential.
• Welding experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair key equipment across the mill's crushing stations.
• Participate in preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and assist fault reporting.
• Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and trainees.
• Collaborate with Work Coordinator on costs, scheduling, and asset life assessments.
• Complete work orders, permits, and timesheets, ensuring quality
