About the role

As our next Mechanical Fitter to proudly represent our Crushing Team, you will live for challenges and thrive on the variety of work available. Located in theShire of Yilgarn, on a 14/7 FIFO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing,Windarling and Parker Range. The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires or Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export. The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.

In this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience servicing and maintaining fixed plant crushers.
  • Sound knowledge of jaw crushers, cone crusher and conveyors
  • Ability to assist with heavy equipment’s repairs and maintenance.
  • Sound communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team
  • Commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Sound knowledge of safety systems and safe work processes.
  • Ability to meet required KPI's set down by management team, operations, and the client.
