Job summary

GHD in Western Australia is inviting applications for its 2027 Graduate cohort. You’ll gain hands-on experience across mechanical and process engineering activities, work with engineers and project teams, and contribute to design reviews, drawings, and reports.

The two-year program pairs you with mentors and peers to build technical capability, with start in February 2027 and potential for future opportunities within GHD's global teams. Applicants should submit CV, cover letter, and transcript.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed an engineering degree.
• Able to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions for a variety of projects
• Support the preparation of engineering calculations, reports and technical documentation
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to develop practical solutions
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications and project documents
• Use engineering software and digital tools to support project delivery
• Participate in design reviews, site visits and stakeholder meetings
• Contribute to multidisciplinary projects across infrastructure, buildings and industry
• Stay up to date with industry standards, emerging technologies and sustainability practices
