Job summary

IXOM is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Botany manufacturing site to support asset integrity, maintenance optimization, plant reliability and capital projects. This hands-on role involves working with maintenance teams, operators and project stakeholders to improve equipment performance from concept through to completion.

You will collaborate closely with technicians and operations to deliver safety-focused outcomes, manage inspections and sustain capital initiatives, while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical maintenance, reliability and asset integrity programs across the site.
• Drive reliability improvements by identifying recurring issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Support regulatory inspections and mechanical compliance activities.
• Deliver sustaining capital and improvement projects from concept to completion.
• Contribute to maintenance planning, shutdowns and asset management initiatives.
• Work with maintenance technicians to implement engineering improvements and drive outcomes.
