Job summary

Buterin L’Estrange Projects in West Gosford, NSW, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. You will design, document and coordinate projects from concept through manufacture and installation for commercial joinery, retail fits and bespoke products.

You will produce manufacturing drawings with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, develop 2D/3D models, review drawings, ensure compliance with Australian Standards, and support project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
• 1+ year of related employment experience preferred
• Australian Standards knowledge is necessary

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs for commercial joinery and bespoke products
• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Develop 2D and 3D models for client presentation and manufacturing
• Review architectural drawings and specifications
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and project requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, production staff and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget
