Job summary

Hysata is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Balance of Stack team to support end-to-end delivery of electrolyser systems. You will contribute to design, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning of demonstration and commercial‑scale plants.

You will work across pressure vessels, piping and materials selection, helping scale a breakthrough electrolyser technology while joining a collaborative, fast-paced startup culture focused on climate impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on design.
• Experience reading and reviewing P&IDs, GA drawings, and layout drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3D layout reviews focusing on process requirements, constructability, operability and maintenance.
• Generate conceptual 3D drawings to support product development decisions.
• Review piping isometrics and equipment layouts for compliance and support detailing.
• Coordinate procurement activities for mechanical equipment and piping.
• Support commissioning of new electrolyser packages.
• Develop and refine technical specifications and engineering documents.
