Job summary

Pro-Tech Laser Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, permanent role based in Australia. You will design, develop and review mechanical systems and equipment, prepare drawings and specs, and optimise HVAC solutions while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge and/or practical experience with HVAC and mechanical services systems.
• Ability to interpret and prepare engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing, fabrication and maintenance principles.
• Experience with CAD or other mechanical engineering/design software is desirable.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

What We Offer

This is a full-time, permanent position offering an annual salary of $90,000 plus superannuation.

The role provides an opportunity to work across practical mechanical engineering, HVAC, fabrication and technology-focused projects within Protech Laser.
