Job summary

Eilbeck Cranes in Sydney is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our strong engineering team. The role focuses on drawing and designing new products using Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD and Mastercam, with emphasis on 2D CAD documentation.

Collaboration in a team and independent work are both essential. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in machine design and detailing; overhead crane experience is a huge advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine design and detailing.
• Proficient in Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD and Mastercam.
• Overhead crane experience is a huge advantage.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draw and design new products using Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD and Mastercam.
• Develop 2D CAD drawings and CAD documentation.
• Work independently or in a team to meet deadlines.

We are renowned for technically superior cost-effective solutions for our customers and are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our strong team of engineers in our Sydney Office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Draw & Design new products using Inventor, Mechanical desktop, AutoCad and Mastercam Fully familiar with 2D CAD Competent in use of AutoCad

Applicant must be able to work independently when necessary or in a team environment Self-Motivated with excellent, clear & concise communication skills essential Minimum 3 years’ experience in some / all of the following areas:

Platforms & Walkways Machine design & detailing Overhead Crane experience would be a 'Huge Advantage'
