Manufacturing Company in Ingleburn is seeking a Mechanical Assembler/General Hand who can start at 7am. You will assemble fabricated parts and products, following drawings and work instructions to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.

You will read drawings, perform quality checks, and use a variety of hand tools. The role emphasizes safe practices, adherence to procedures, and willingness to train and diversify your skills on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure fitness for form and function.
• Work safely and protect fellow workers.

Manufacturing Company based in Ingleburn require a Mechanical Assembler/General Hand and must be able to start at 7am

Mechanical Assembler/General Hands are responsible for the assembly of all fabricated pieces, parts and products using a variety of tools and equipment and ensuring that they are assembled to either the required specification, shop floor procedure, mechanical drawing or other written or verbal work instructions.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Able to read and follow engineering drawings, as well as other written work instructions and procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products to the required specification.
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure products are fit for form and function.
• Able to work safely and ensure the safety of other fellow workers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Able to identify and demonstrate the proper use of assorted hand tools.
• Knowledge of basic measuring equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Follow safe work practices
