Tyrepower Port Fairy is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Port Fairy, VIC 3284, this role is fundamental to delivering exceptional automotive services to our customers. As a Mechanic / Wheel Alignment Technician, you will be responsible for performing a range of mechanical repairs, maintenance tasks, and wheel alignment services with precision and professionalism. This position plays a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction within the community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including diagnostics, repair, and servicing
• Execute wheel alignment services using modern alignment equipment and technology
• Conduct vehicle inspections and provide detailed assessments of mechanical issues
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workshop areas are maintained to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timeframes, and costs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely job completion
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in general mechanical repairs and maintenance across various vehicle types
• Proficiency in wheel alignment services and operation of alignment equipment
