Job summary

Macarthur Automotive is recruiting an experienced Mechanic Technician to join the Jaguar Land Rover workshop team in South-West Sydney. You’ll service, diagnose and repair Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, using manufacturer systems and diagnostic equipment to meet safety and quality standards.

We’re looking for a trade-qualified automotive professional with strong diagnostics, attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive trade qualification.
• Previous experience as Automotive Technician/Mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Commitment to quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific systems.
• Ensure work is completed to manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
• Collaborate with Technicians, Service Advisors and Workshop Management.

About the Role

As a Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance across Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, ensuring every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Performing vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific systems
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to manufacturer standards
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop
• Working collaboratively with Technicians, Service Advisors and Workshop Management
