The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Mechanic to join our growing team and work with us in achieving our goals. You will have the opportunity to work within a small team, in a state-of-the-art workshop and with a modern fleet. Maintaining the Directhaul fleet of trucks and trailers to a high standard of maintenance through scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance or repairs. To be successful in this role, you will require a heavy vehicle trade certificate, qualified Mechanic trade certificate with good mechanical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
You will be part of a team that understands the importance of offering a customised approach to transportation and join a dedicated team who work closely with clients to ensure they can access reliable and cost-efficient transport solutions that meet their needs.
Key responsibilities include:
The role will manage the maintenance of the regions fleet vehicles, inclusive of callouts for asset breakdowns and possible interstate fleet maintenance. The role may require interstate travel, between workshops to temporality fill vacant roles.
