Job summary

Kilcoy Cuisine Solutions on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Raw Materials Team Leader to coordinate the Raw Materials team. You will ensure raw materials are prepared and supplied safely and on spec, while collaborating with Production, QA, Engineering and Planning.

The role requires two years in meat processing with knife skills and knowledge of primal cuts, plus leadership experience and a focus on continuous improvement. Roster is Mon–Fri with early start and overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a meat processing environment.
• Experience across beef, lamb and chicken.
• Demonstrated knife skills including sharpening and skilled meat processing.
• Strong knowledge of primal cuts and yields.
• Experience leading or coordinating a team in meat production.
• Experience with safe machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plan by allocating tasks based on priorities and labour.
• Own flow and availability of raw materials for downstream production.
• Monitor performance against volumes, labour, yield, quality and efficiency.
• Identify yield losses and implement corrective actions.
• Direct and prioritise work to keep lines supplied.
• Lead and develop team through training and feedback.
• Ensure safety, knife handling and machine operation standards.
• Maintain GMP and HACCP/CCP compliance and required documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement across yield, efficiency and safety.
