Job Description

Our client is an industry leading agribusiness with sophisticated meat operations located in Moe and surrounds. They are currently looking to fill 100 meat process worker positions across their sites, with work commencing from Oct 2026 onwards. You are required to work in meat processing environment.

You are not afraid of getting your hands dirty. You will be a team player who is physically fit and more than able to handle heavy lifting. You will be paid under the Meat Industry Award – Level 1, an hourly rate of $25.74 per hour, with a minimum of 38 hours of work, per week.

This will be aligned with the Fair Work Commission's annual reviews, including any increases to the National Minimum Wage and minimum award rates of pay. You will be offered between 1-4 years of work with potential to upskill.

Key duties include: We are currently recruiting full-time labourers. Meat processing / butchery requires teamwork, discipline, alertness, physical fitness and strength of mind and body. All employees are required to comply with all safety, quality and production requirements.

All successful applicants will undergo a physical functional capabilities assessment and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. All sites are drug & alcohol free sites and all employees are Q-fever and Covid 19 vaccinated.
