Job summary

Nepali Lai Kaam is hiring a Meat Process Worker for our North St Marys site in Australia. You will operate and assist with meat processing machinery, cut, trim, pack and handle meat products, and maintain hygiene and safety standards in a team environment.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with some Fridays as required. The role offers a long-term opportunity and a negotiable hourly rate of around $28/hour, depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg.
• Willing to learn and operate meat processing machinery.
• Experience in meat processing or factory work preferred, but not essential – full training provided.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operating and assisting with meat processing machinery (full training provided)
• Cutting, trimming, packing, and handling meat products
• Cleaning and sanitising equipment, machinery, and work areas
• Lifting and moving products and materials (up to 20kg)
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
