Job summary

O'Toole Contracting – Hay and Haulage Specialists in Echuca, Victoria, is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to haul hay and straw across Victoria, Northern NSW and Southern Queensland. You will operate MC-rated prime movers and multi-trailer setups, including B-Double, with telehandler loading.

Applicants must hold a current MC licence with a clean record, 3–5 years hay/straw carting experience, and 1–2 years of telehandler operation.

MC Truck Driver – Hay & Straw Haulage
O'Toole Contracting – Echuca, Victoria.

O'Toole Contracting is a well-established Echuca-based company specializing in hay contracting and haulage across Victoria, Northern NSW, and Southern Queensland. We're looking for a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team hauling hay and straw to customers in the northern regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating MC-rated prime movers and multi-trailer combinations (B-Double / Road Train setups) to transport hay and straw bales.

Loading/unloading using a telehandler (experience essential).

Long-haul runs primarily from Victoria to Northern NSW and Southern Queensland.

Ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and maintaining high standards of vehicle care.

What We're Looking For:

Current MC (Multi-Combination) license with a clean driving history.

Proven experience carting hay and/or straw.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience carting hay and/or straw is required.

Hands-on experience operating a telehandler for loading/unloading bales.

Minimum 1-2 years of telehandler operating experience is required.

Ability to handle long-distance interstate work with overnight stays as required.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Physically fit for manual tasks associated with loading.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
