Job summary

DP World in Sydney is seeking an MC Truck Driver to shuttle full exports/imports and empty containers within the port precinct. The role starts at 4am, day shift, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds an MC licence, MSIC, and has A-Doubles experience, plus strong knowledge of Sydney's port terminals and CoR requirements. MTData/electronic work diary experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current MC licence.
• Must hold a current MSIC.
• Safe driving record with no major incidents.
• Experience with A-Doubles and container truck operations.
• Knowledge of Empty Parks and Terminals in Sydney.
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Experience using MTData and electronic work diary systems preferred.
• Maintain high vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation.
• Knowledge of legal weight limits and load positions.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle Full Exports and Imports within the Port Precinct.
• Move Empty containers around port areas.
• Deliver containers to customer sites in metro and regional areas.
• Perform pre-start checks, report faults and calibrate weight scales.
• Assist with Chain of Responsibility compliance and overall safety.
• Manage driver time sheets and load data to a high standard.

An exciting opportunity for a MC Truck Driver to join our team!

We are looking for an MC Truck Driver with experience in carting Full Containers. This is a day shift role, with a start time of 4am.

A current MSIC is mandatory, and ADOUBLE experience is required.

Key Accountabilities

• Shuttling Full Exports and Imports in the Port Precinct
• Shuttling Empty containers around the Port precinct
• Delivering containers to customer sites in metro and regional/rural areas
• Performing pre-start equipment checks, fault reporting and weight scale calibration
• Assistance with management of Chain of Responsibility and compliance as a Truck Driver
• Managing driver time sheets and load data to a high standard

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Current MC licence
• Current MSIC
• Safe driving record
• Previous experience in container truck driving - A-Doubles, including reversing and breaking down trailers
• Knowledge of all Empty Parks and Terminals in Sydney
• Current knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
• Previous experience using MTData and electronic work diary technology highly desired
• High regard for vehicle cleanliness and personal presentation
• Current knowledge of legal weight limits and correct load positions
• Be physically fit and capable of passing a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
