Job summary

Cahill Transport is seeking 2 experienced MC Quad Road Train Drivers for Brisbane to Darwin return runs. You’ll operate a quad road train via Roma, delivering to Darwin and returning with pickups, handling general freight with proper load restraint.

Applicants should have a current MC licence, 2+ years interstate linehaul and quad road train experience, and BFM accreditation with EWD usage. Weekly pay and a supportive fleet environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Current MC Driver Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' recent MC interstate linehaul experience.
• Quad road train experience, ideally with B-double, dolly, B-double combinations.
• Current BFM accreditation and experience using an EWD.
• Strong load restraint knowledge and a safe driving history.
• Ability to identify and resolve minor mechanical issues while on the road would be an advantage.
• A professional and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to Roma to rehook into a quad road train combination before continuing to Darwin.
• Delivering into our Darwin depot and completing your own pick-ups on the return journey.
• Transporting general freight and ensuring loads are safely restrained.
• Using an Electronic Work Diary (EWD) to manage work and rest hours.

Cahill Transport is a proudly Australian-owned, third-generation family business with over 75 years of experience in transport and logistics.

We're seeking 2 experienced MC Quad Road Train Drivers to complete regular Brisbane to Darwin return runs via Roma, operating a B-double, dolly, B-double configuration.

These positions are suited to confident interstate drivers who are comfortable working independently over long distances.

What You'll Be Doing

Travelling to Roma to rehook into a quad road train combination before continuing to Darwin.

Delivering into our Darwin depot and completing your own pick-ups on the return journey.

Transporting general freight and ensuring loads are safely restrained.

Using an Electronic Work Diary (EWD) to manage work and rest hours.

Completing vehicle checks and required transport documentation.

Complying with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements.

What You'll Bring
