Job summary

LMP Project Services in Mackay is seeking an experienced MC Licensed heavy vehicle operator to safely manage road trains within mine sites and haul roads. You will perform pre-start checks, transport materials on schedule, and work closely with clients to uphold professional standards.

The role requires a current MC licence with a clean record, Standard 11, and Coal Board Medical. Join a locally owned, expanding team offering 7 on 7 off rosters and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current MC licence with a clean driving record.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate MC Road Trains within mine site and haul road environments.
• Transport materials efficiently and on schedule.
• Conduct thorough pre-start, post-start and shutdown vehicle inspections.
• Work closely with clients and represent LMP professionally.
• Monitor road conditions, hazards and equipment performance, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to fatigue management, site procedures and all relevant safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the mining team to support production outcomes.
