Strait Link Shipping Pty Ltd in Launceston is seeking an experienced Multi Combination Driver to support our busy depot. You will be responsible for operating multi‑combination vehicles, completing local cartage as directed, and assisting as a forklift operator when needed.

The role includes day and night shifts with some weekend work. Applicants should have HC license and proven freight experience, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum Year 10 education; Year 12 preferred.
• HC Licence required; MC essential.
• Face to face, verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Proven delivery and freight experience is required.
• Able to work safely and without direct supervision.
• Physically capable of manual handling and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi‑combination trucks on depot routes.
• Perform local cartage as directed by supervisor.
• Assist as forklift operator when required.
• Roster includes day and night shifts, with some weekends.
