Job summary

Phoenix Trucking Co in Canberra is seeking an experienced MC Interstate Operator for a full-time role based in Canberra. You will drive a cab-over Kenworth, handle tautliner freight, and operate on regular routes between Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide with occasional Brisbane runs.

This one-man/one-truck position offers a straightforward, well-structured linehaul with predictable schedules, monthly RDO and paid allowances. Canberra-based drivers are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• MC Licence is required.
• Experience in interstate or linehaul work is essential.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a one-man/one-truck role.
• Canberra-based drivers are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate interstate linehaul on regular routes between Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide with occasional Brisbane trips.
• Unload and reload within the same depot to ensure quick turnarounds.
• Maintain and operate a cab-over Kenworth with a manual gearbox.
• Adhere to a one-man/one-truck policy and reliable scheduling.
