Job summary

Followmont Transport is seeking experienced MC longhaul drivers based in Sydney or Melbourne to keep freight moving. This role involves long-haul interstate routes with regular nights on the road and occasional sleeps in the truck, requiring a high level of independence and dedication to safety.

You will operate B doubles and road trains on the east coast, manage interstate movements, and perform pre-start checks while keeping compliance records up to date.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MC Licence.
• Experience in interstate or long-haul driving.
• Strong commitment to safety and fatigue management.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional driving history and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Operating B Double and road train combinations across the east coast
• Managing interstate linehaul movements safely and efficiently
• Completing pre-start checks and maintaining compliance records
• Working closely with our operations team to meet delivery schedules
• Representing Followmont professionally on the road and at customer sites
