Blenners Transport in Townsville is seeking an experienced MC Shuttle Driver to join our depot on a casual basis, offering 3–4 night shifts per week for local shuttle runs.

You will hold a current MC licence with road ranger gear, have 3+ years of heavy vehicle experience, and commit to safety, punctuality and customer-focused service.

• 3+ years experience operating large commercial vehicles in road transport.
• BFM Accreditation required.
• Heavy vehicle medical (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean 5-year traffic history report required.
• Strong safety-first mindset and commitment to safe driving practices.

Aufgaben

• Safely operating large commercial vehicles such as road trains, B-doubles and other multi-combination configurations.
• Nightly shuttle runs.
• Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintaining detailed logbooks and vehicle inspection records.
• Liaising with dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Position Requirements

• A current MC (Multi-Combination) driver’s licence – must be able to drive road ranger gear box
• Significant experience (3+ years) operating large commercial vehicles in the road transport industry
• BFM Accreditation
• Heavy commercial vehicle medical (or willing to obtain one)
• Clean 5-year traffic history report
• A strong safety-first mindset and commitment to safe driving practices
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
