CHS Broadbent Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver & Forklift Operator for the Toowoomba depot night shift. You will split time between container loading/unloading and forklift operations, with shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include safe operation of MC vehicle combinations, forklift handling, pre-start inspections, load restraint, and keeping accurate logs and paperwork. Local roster ensures you’re home each morning.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted MC licence with a clean driving record.
• Current High-Risk Work Licence (LF) with proven heavy freight or container handling experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating MC vehicles in a commercial environment.
• Strong physical fitness and willingness to work night shifts.
• Solid understanding of CoR and NHVR fatigue regulations.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable MC Truck Driver & Forklift Operator to join our busy night shift logistics team. This is a dual-responsibility role based out of our Toowoomba depot, operating between 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday.

You will spend your shift split between multi-combination containers and high-volume forklift operations loading and unloading containers.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate MC vehicle combinations for local drop-offs, changeovers, and yard shunting.

Operate high-capacity forklifts to load and unload tautliners, flatbeds, and containers.

Complete pre-start vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.

Ensure all load restraint guidelines are strictly followed for secure transport.

Maintain accurate digital and paper logbooks and delivery paperwork.

Skills and Experience Required

Current, unrestricted Multi-Combination (MC) Licence with a clean driving record.

Current High-Risk Work Licence (LF) with proven experience in heavy freight or container handling.

Minimum 2 years of experience operating MC vehicles in a commercial environment.

Strong physical fitness and willingness to work consistent night hours.

Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR fatigue regulations.
