KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced overnight express MC Driver to operate a high-capacity vehicle between Brisbane and Rockhampton, with drops en route. This role involves overnight runs and participation in a dynamic, family-owned business focused on safe, reliable service.

Responsibilities include safe operation of an MC-class vehicle, forklift-assisted loading/unloading, accurate trip logs, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold MC driver's licence and forklift licence.

Job description

KS Gordon Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced overnight express MC Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a high-capacity vehicle between Brisbane and Rockhampton, Queensland, with drops en route. This role is overnight express with 5 return runs per fortnight. The position offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Safely operate an MC-class vehicle on the Brisbane to Rockhampton route, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations

Load and unload the vehicle as required, ensuring efficient and secure transportation of goods using a forklift - forklift licence required

Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation, in compliance with company and industry standards

Show excellent time management skills to be able to complete the requirements

Provide excellent customer service to clients

About you

A valid MC driver's licence, forklift licence and a clean driving record

Candidates with the ability to operate under BFM preferred

At least 2 years of experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably in a similar transport role

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of safe driving practices

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Australian work rights are required for this position
