Job summary

Russell Transport is seeking an experienced MC Driver for our B'Double operations based at the Caloundra Depot. You will palletise, load, and transport pallets from Distribution Centres across South East Queensland back to the Sunshine Coast depot, with early start times.

The role involves linehaul driving between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, some refrigerated transport, curtain opening/closing, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Strong customer service focus essential.
• Proven ability to work unsupervised in a fast-moving depot.

Responsibilities

• Drive MC/B-Double vehicles on linehaul routes between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
• Load/unload pallets and ensure safe stacking and transportation.
• Perform pre-start checks and maintain a clean, safe cab environment.
• Open/close curtains and comply with fatigue laws and regulations.
• Support depot staff as required and pass medical and D&A tests.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced MC Driver for our B'Double vehicle, based at our Caloundra Depot - doing palletised goods pickups from the various Distribution Centres in South East Queensland and returning to our Depot at the Sunshine Coast.

Start time commences from 4:30am

The work involves:

linehaul driving between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast

some refrigerated transportation

Opening and closing curtains

Supporting depot staff as required

Pre-starting your vehicle and trailers and maintaining a safe and clean environment in the cab

Adhering to Fatigue laws and regulations

Ensuring the pallets are stacked and loaded for safe transportation

You will also need to pass a Medical and a Drug & Alcohol test prior to commencement.

To secure these roles you will have previous commercial driving experience, a strong customer service focus and a proven ability to work unsupervised in a fast moving consumer goods depot.
