Job summary

FBT Transwest in Melbourne seeks an MC Driver to operate B-double combinations from our Tottenham depot on a full-time day shift. You will deliver safe, reliable transport services and maintain high levels of customer service.

The role requires a current MC licence with B-double experience and a strong commitment to safety, fatigue management, and load restraint. DG licence and MSIC are highly regarded, and we offer uniforms, PPE and ongoing training.

Join FBT Transwest as an MC Driver operating B-double combinations, based at our Tottenham depot on full-time day shift. You'll work alongside our operations team to deliver safe, reliable transport services in a workplace that values teamwork and respect. Key responsibilities

Safely operate B-double combinations in accordance with road laws, company procedures and site requirements.

Complete pre-start inspections and promptly report vehicle faults or maintenance requirements.

Check load restraint and complete transport documentation accurately.

Follow fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

Communicate effectively with the operations team and customers.

Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and tidy condition.

About you

A current Multi Combination (MC) driver licence and experience operating B-double combinations.

A strong commitment to safe driving and workplace safety.

Sound understanding of fatigue management, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility obligations.

Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A current Dangerous Goods (DG) driver licence and Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) will be highly regarded.
