Job summary

Sydney International School of Technology and Commerce (SISTC) invites applications for casual (sessional) Lecturers to teach and coordinate units in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) across Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Dandenong campuses. You will deliver face-to-face instruction for postgraduate students and coordinate unit activities with Unit Coordinators.

The successful candidate will have a PhD/DBA or equivalent professional standing, strong teaching experience at MBA level, and

Qualifications

• PhD or DBA in a business discipline relevant to the teaching areas, or equivalent professional standing.
• Demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, ideally at postgraduate or MBA level.
• Strong knowledge of your discipline, supported by teaching, research and/or industry experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Experience in developing unit or course content (e.g. learning materials and assessments).
• Professional credentials or affiliations (e.g. CPA, CA ANZ, CFA or PMP).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, review and updating of unit content, including learning materials, lecture slides, activities and assessments.
• Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, seminars and tutorials in your area of expertise, incorporating current industry practice and case studies.
• Provide high-quality instruction and support to postgraduate students, many working professionals, in an inclusive learning environment.
• Mark and moderate assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Offer consultation and guidance to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
• Participate in unit review, moderation and staff meetings as required, upholding academic integrity standards.
