Matrix Education is hiring Maths Teachers to join our team at Bella Vista, Chatswood, Epping or Hurstville campuses. We offer casual or full-time opportunities with ready-made lessons and resources, teaching regular weekly classes across NSW campuses.

This role suits an NESA-accredited teacher, an experienced educator, or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhD). Classes run after school on weekdays and weekends in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NESA accredited teacher
• Experience teaching secondary Maths
• Knowledge of NSW Curriculum (Stages 4–6)
• Degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or related
• Postgraduate studies (MTeach/MD/PhD) highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Teach regular weekly classes (lessons/resources provided)
• Monitor student progress via short quizzes
• Provide ongoing support and mentoring for students needing extra help

Matrix Education is now hiring Maths Teachers to join our growing team at our Bella Vista, Chatswood, Epping or Hurstvillecampuses. With both casual and full-time opportunities available, you’ll be teaching in a supportive, professional, and inspiring environment.

As a Maths Teacher at Matrix, you will teach your regular classes each week at one of our fabulous campuses, with minimal preparation required, as lessons and resources are prepared for you.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher, a professional with previous teaching experience, or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc).

Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends.

What you’ll do…

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you),
• Teaching opportunities available on weekdays during the NSW school holiday period,
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes,
• Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you’ll need…

• A genuine passion for teaching,
• Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting,
• Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 Maths,
• Completed their degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related discipline,
• Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
