Job summary

Australian Christian College Singleton is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher with an opportunity to take on a Mathematics Coordinator leadership role. The role is full-time and commences Term 1 2027, with responsibilities across Years 7–12 and curriculum leadership support if needed.

The successful applicant will hold NSW NSW accreditation (NESA) or be eligible, have a strong maths background, and demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor colleagues and improve student learning outcomes

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach Secondary Mathematics with ability to teach Years 7–12.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Sound understanding of the NSW Mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning experiences.
• Willingness to receive feedback and improve teaching.
• Support for explicit instruction within a knowledge-rich curriculum.
• Ability to plan, collect and analyse educational data to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrates excellence in teaching per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Active Christian faith; suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or eligibility).
• Current Working with Children Check.
