Australian Christian College Singleton seeks a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our growing P-12 community in the Hunter Valley. The role focuses on delivering engaging, high-quality Mathematics instruction across Years 7–12 in a supportive learning environment.

Qualificações

• Have appropriate qualifications and experience teaching Secondary Mathematics, with the ability to teach across Years 7–12.
• Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to communicate concepts clearly to students of varying abilities.
• Sound understanding of the NSW Mathematics curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver high-quality differentiated learning.
• Capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Open to feedback and able to implement changes.
• Support an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based on a knowledge-rich curriculum.
• Plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise strategies to improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate teaching excellence as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
• Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Australian Christian College – Singleton.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering engaging, high-quality Mathematics instruction while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

For a suitably qualified and experienced applicant, an additional Mathematics Coordinator leadership opportunity is also available. This position would involve providing curriculum leadership, supporting colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of Mathematics teaching and learning across the College.

This full-time role commences Term 1 2027.

Requirements

The successful applicant will:

• - Have appropriate qualifications and experience teaching Secondary Mathematics, with the ability to teach across Years 7–12 highly regarded.
• - Demonstrate strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to communicate mathematical concepts clearly and effectively to students of varying abilities.
• - Have a sound understanding of the relevant NSW Mathematics curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated learning experiences.
• - Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• - Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes.
• - Be supportive of an explicit instruction approach to teaching, based in a knowledge-rich curriculum.
• - Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
• - Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• - Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible).
• - Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
