Job summary

Parkes High School in the central west of NSW invites applications for a Teacher of Mathematics to teach Years 7–12, including Extensions 1 and 2, in a supportive, inclusive secondary setting. The successful applicant will collaborate with the Maths faculty, communicate effectively with students, parents and staff, and use data-informed practices to improve learning and wellbeing.

A NSW teaching approval is required; differentiation, literacy and numeracy are emphasised within a Stronger Smarter

Qualifications

• Approval to teach Mathematics 7–12 with ability to teach Extensions 1 & 2.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, staff and parents.
• Ability to work collaboratively within the Maths faculty and school community.
• Demonstrated capacity to apply differentiated teaching and data-informed practices.
