Wenona School in North Sydney invites applications for a permanent full-time Mathematics teacher to join our Mathematics Department. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, high professional standards and inquiry-based learning across Years 7–12.

Applicants will have a strong knowledge of the NSW/NESA curriculum, experience with HSC assessment and marking, and a willingness to teach Mathematics Extension.

• Qualified Mathematics teacher with credential to teach across Years 7-12.

Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our Mathematics Department. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

• Embrace collaboration, professional learning, and the use of ICT to enrich student engagement.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing in Term 1 2027.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified, with experience in teaching Mathematics across Years 7-12. You will have a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum, and HSC assessment practices and marking processes. Experience in teaching or willingness to teach Mathematics Extension will be highly regarded. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
