Prospero Teaching Australia is partnering with a well-regarded independent secondary school on Sydney's Northern Beaches to recruit an experienced Leader of Learning – Mathematics. The role focuses on leading the Mathematics faculty, mentoring the teaching team, and driving excellence across Years 7–12.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate substantial Mathematics teaching experience across secondary years, plus leadership or faculty coordination capability and a strong understanding of the NSW

Qualifications

Experience teaching Mathematics across secondary year levels.
Leadership or faculty coordination experience.
Strong understanding of the NSW Curriculum and senior Mathematics courses.
Ability to mentor and develop other teachers.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Leading and mentoring the Mathematics teaching team
Driving excellence in teaching and learning across Years 7–12
Supporting curriculum planning and implementation aligned with the NSW Curriculum
Monitoring student achievement data and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
Promoting evidence-based teaching practices and effective assessment strategies
Contributing to the wider life of the school through co-curricular and community initiatives
