Job summary

St Aloysius College Cronulla, part of Sydney Catholic Schools, invites applications for a Mathematics Coordinator. The role leads stages 4-6 maths, supports Extension 1 & 2, and fosters a student-centered Catholic learning environment.

The position is 2-point promotional, temporary up to 3 years, with a full-time, permanent teaching appointment. Applicants should hold a tertiary Education qualification and current NESA accreditation, and be committed to student wellbeing and inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Mathematics across Years 7-12 within a Catholic education setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead curriculum, assessment and student wellbeing initiatives.
• Tertiary qualification in Education and valid NESA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mathematics coordination for Years 7-12 and support Extension 1/2 delivery.
• Foster inclusive, rigorous learning experiences and strong classroom management.
• Collaborate with staff to promote student wellbeing and Catholic values.
