Responsibilities

• The Learning Specialist - Mathematics and PLCs will work with the leadership team to deliver an outstanding, subject‑specific teaching and learning program.
• Lead and facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) within the Mathematics faculty, including data analysis, evidence‑based professional learning, observation and feedback.
• Lead College‑wide approaches to curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, documentation and reporting at the faculty level.
• Lead the development and implementation of rigorous curriculum and assessment in Mathematics.
• Create a plan and priorities for subject teams' collaborative planning meetings.
• Support school‑wide reporting practices within the domain and manage curriculum documentation and assessment moderation.
• Lead mentoring and instructional coaching to improve teaching practice and student outcomes.
• Manage resources including booklists, budget, and Google Drive.
• Support intervention, inclusion, engagement and enrichment programs.
